In June, Ukraine and the European Union will hold the 19th round of negotiations on Association Agreement, press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ukraine said.
The corresponding agreement has been reached by Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Pavlo Klymkin and head of the EU delegation, director of the European Service of Foreign Affairs for Eastern Neighborhood, Russia and Western Balkans Miroslav Lajcak during the 18th round of talks in Brussels, Belgium.
Besides, the sides coordinated renewed project on structure of the abovementioned agreement and continued its article-by-article consideration.
Moreover, Klymkin pointed to necessity to enshrine international the text of the agreement European prospects for Ukraine, which may become a powerful stimulus for further domestic political and socioeconomic reforms in the state and comprehensive approach to EU standards.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on April 5, the Verkhovna Rada called on the EU to enshrine soon opportunity for Ukraine to have visa-free regime with the European Union in the Association Agreement.
Plenipotentiary of the Cabinet of Ministers for co-operation with the Russian Federation and the Commonwealth of Independent States members, Eurasian Economic Community and other regional associations Valerii Muntiyan admits possible joining of Ukraine to the protocol on creation of customs union of the Common Economic Space (with Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) in July.
