Pandya Yemini noted that legalisation has both positive and negative
consequences.

hand, illegal immigrants’ amnesty helps foreigners to return to normal life.
They can use the medical service and other social services without any fear.
However,
there are also some negative consequences. According to Pandya
legalisation leads to the greater influx of foreigners without any documents,
because they expect to get an amnesty in future again. That is why such steps
are often criticized by some EU countries.
