Issuance of biometric documents in Ukraine will begin after the completion of preparations, the State Migration Service of Ukraine press service informs.
"We could name some specific dates of start of drawing -up these documents only after the introduction of biometric documents is settled legally, all the necessary procedures for the purchase of forms are performed, the relevant infrastructure is created and the State Migration Service technical support is provided", the press service says.
Before the start issuing biometric documents, the State Migration Service of Ukraine department will give citizens the documents, issued prior to the entry into force of the law. Such documents will be valid and will not be replaced by biometric before their expiry, the press service report stresses.
