European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton will visit Ukraine in early March. Negotiations on EU High Representatives’ visit to Ukraine are held between Kyiv and Brussels during six months.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs attended the inauguration of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in Ferbuary 2010, but has never carried out a fully-fledged visit to the east-European country.
"It has been agreed that the two-day visit will take place on March 1-2," an unnamed source told.
