The VFA with Norway has come into force on September 1, 2011. The document was signed on February 13, 2008 in Oslo. According to the message of the press-secretary of Ministry for Foreign Affairs Oleksandr Dikusarov, the agreement provides for Norway simplified and unified procedure for the requests’ and decisions’ consideration on issuing visas to Ukrainian citizens by Norway.
Parents and
children of Ukrainian citizens who have a permission to stay in
businessmen, journalists, officials of central and local government, the
permanent members of official delegations will receive the one-time visas for
up to 5 years.
In
addition, the workers of science, culture, sports, professional carriers, train
crew members, participants of exchange programs between the twin cities will
receive one-year multiple-entry visas.
