From February 4, until Friday, February 9 the experts from Europe without Barriers will carry out the sociological survey research in the Ukrainian Community of Spain
During the research survey personal interview with Ukrainian labor migrants’ shall be conducted. The research aimed to define the role and place of Ukrainian Community in social and economic life of Spain, current stereotypes, and political and civic elite’s opinions; study the level of perception on the current problems, including public order and security issues.
February 6, 2012 at 15.00 in Barcelona (Spain), the experts from Europe without Barriers will hold a meeting with the Ukrainian Community leaders and representatives from Spanish Committee on foreigners, labor and immigration. The event will take place with the support of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Spain (Barcelona). This day also Ukrainian experts will hold the meeting with the experts from Barcelona’s Centre for International Relations (CIDOB).
The survey will be implemented within the project “Ukraine-Spain migration nexus: benefits and risks in the context of visa liberalization between the EU and Ukraine” being realized at support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
