On 15th of October 2010 the Presentation «Monitoring of implementation the existent obligations in the field of visa issuance of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv to the citizens of Ukraine (Visa Facilitation Agreement, EU Visa Code)»: the results of the public monitoring on visa policy practices of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv», organized by the Fund for Local Democracy (Kharkiv) will be held in the «MIST» Press-club (Kharkiv, Mironositska str, 21.)
The research is aimed to assess visa issuance for the citizens of Ukraine by Schengen States’ consulates according to the following parameters:
• Queues;
• Waiting period for Consulate’s decision;
• Visa refusals: number and reasons;
• Availability of multiple entry, long terms and free of charge visas;
• Validity of multiple entry visas;
• Visa procedure cost;
• Documents, complexity of the procedure and treatment towards applicants;
• Evaluation of changes in visa procedure;
• Distances to consulates
