Next week, on May 16 from 15.00 untill 17.00 p.m. in Prague “Europe without Barriers” in cooperation with Policy Association for an Open Society (PASOS),at support of the International Renaissance Foundation will held a round-table discussion:The EU Visa Policy in the Eastern Europe: what neighbors could do? A case of Czech Republic.
Next week, on May 16 from 15.00 untill 17.00 p.m. in Prague “Europe without Barriers” in cooperation with Policy Association for an Open Society (PASOS) , at support of the International Renaissance Foundation will held a round-table discussion:The EU Visa Policy in the Eastern Europe: what neighbors could do? A case of Czech Republic.
The issues sceduled to be discussed:
– Schengen visa policy: does something work wrong?
– Benefits and losses on the "border revolution"
– The case of Czech Republic as a Schengen state: visa issuance in Eastern Europe and the world
– What can be delivered to make "visa free Europe" real?
Discussion will be accompanied with the presentation of the art photo exhibition: “Visas? What’s the reason?”, focused on the cases of the famous Ukrainian journalists, civic activists, intellectuals, academics and sportsmen faced serious difficulties in obtaining visas for traveling to the EU.
