The Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Juncker, said Wednesday, emerging from a meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart Boyko Borissov, that Bulgaria should become part of the Schengen Area as soon as possible.
Juncker heads a government delegation on a visit to Bulgaria. On the agenda of the talks held in the Euxiongrad Palace near Varna were questions related to the Eurozone and the prospects before Bulgaria.
The Luxembourg Prime Minister said that Bulgaria is doing its best to protect the external borders of the EU.
