In the framework of the research 1860 respondents and applicants from 20 consular services of the EU and the Schengen zone were interviewed.
Data received gave us answers to the following questions:

• The purpose and goals of Ukrainians’ traveling abroad: regional features.
• How are the certain provisions of the Visa Facilitation Agreement (VFA) implemented, especially those regarding the share of multiple and long-term visas.
• How much do Ukrainians pay for visa? Where are visas the most expensive?
• Do consular offices comply with the standards concerning the obligatory explanations of visa refusals and the right to appeal, which are determined by the EU Visa Code?
• Have visa requirements become more softer: a list of common (typical) documents, which are often required
• The innovations in consular practice: negative and positive trends
• Rating of the EU consular offices. Are there significant differences between the visa practices of different EU member states that were fixed in previous years? Аre there «friendly» and «unfriendly» consulates and why?
• What kind of impact provided by the VFA in comparison to 2010?
The EWB experts from Kyiv, Uzhgorod, Donetsk, Lviv, Lutsk and Kharkiv will take part. Experts will present «regional» specifics of visa policies.
